Scott W. Miller
President
Scott is a seasoned financial consultant who has performed a full range of CFO and accounting management duties for over 150 companies ranging in annual revenues from $1 to $500 million. He works directly with business owners and CEOs to strategize and identify business trends. He has performed major financial turnarounds resulting in decreased expenses and increased efficiencies of client operations, and personally managed over $750 million in cash flow. Scott is a hands-on professional that intimately and thoroughly understands how to maximize financial efficiency and control, with demonstrated results.
Scott loves to spend time outdoors, is an avid skier, and enjoys his role as husband and father of five children.
George Sukol
Senior Analyst
George joined Corporate Matters in 2014 and now serves as the lead on client interactions for the majority of our engagements. As part of his regular duties, George manages the back office and oversees the accounting for all of our clients, as well as heads the forensic investigation and financial stabilization projects. He is skilled in financial reporting and preparation of cash flow and proforma projections and has headed the effort to upgrade clients’ accounting systems and implemented DCAA and Cost Accounting standards.
George received his Bachelors’ of Arts in Economics from the University of Maryland. In his free time, George volunteers with Pacific Community Ventures mentoring small-business owners and is an avid music listener and concert attendee.
Roger Gonzalez
Associate
Roger joined Corporate Matters in July 2019 after moving to the states from Nicaragua, where he worked for Starbucks worldwide customer service. He manages the majority of our bookkeeping and data analysis projects and participates in our quality control programs.
Roger is a proud husband and father of two and enjoys his family time. In a previous life, he was an MMA fighter and we enjoy his determined attitude in our office.
Sasha Andersson
Senior Bookkeeper & Tax Adviser
With over fifteen years’ experience in the financial world, Sasha is an expert in cash flow, tax preparation, income tax, QuickBooks, and payroll. She founded SJP Accounting in 2007 and became an Enrolled Agent shortly after, supporting businesses with tax preparation, tax audits, and other relevant tasks. Having joined forces with our company in 2010, she has been providing our clients with a wide variety of bookkeeping and accounting services for the majority of her career.
Sasha received her B.Sc. in 2006 in Accounting with a Magna Cum Laude distinction from Strayer University. When not working, you can find her enjoying time with her family, watching the Washington Capitals Hockey games, playing soccer or other sports, and traveling.
